Accounts Receivable Clerk

What You'll Be Doing

As part of our Accounting Team, you'll help keep our financial operations running smoothly across our Northern Ontario branches.

• Keep the numbers in check! Prepare and process invoices, account statements, work orders, and other financial documents.
• Balance it all. Enter, verify, and reconcile receivables, payments, credits, deposits, and financial transactions.
• Keep our branches connected. Review invoices, transfers, and reports for accuracy while supporting branch teams with accounts receivable inquiries.
• Stay on top of daily transactions. Reconcile rental transactions, process batches, and manage POS deposits.
• Help new customers get started. Coordinate customer credit applications and third-party credit checks.
• Keep payments on track. Follow up on outstanding accounts, communicate with customers, and coordinate payment arrangements.
• Handle the tough stuff professionally. Assist with collection issues, account escalations, and recommendations for further action when necessary.

What We're Looking For

• A detail-oriented individual with strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Someone who is comfortable working with numbers, managing multiple priorities, and meeting deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills and a professional approach to customer interactions.
• Previous accounts receivable experience (2+ years preferred).
• Experience with accounting software such as SAGE 300 is an asset.
• Post-secondary education in accounting, business, or a related field is preferred.
