Service Writer

What You’ll Do

You’ll be the central hub that keeps everything running — connecting customers, technicians, Parts, and Rentals to make sure each service job is handled efficiently and professionally.

• Coordinate mechanic assignments (including out-of-town jobs)

• Oversee warranty claims, work orders, and service documentation

• Track safety certificates, maintenance programs, and inspection records

• Review logs, van records, and tool inventories

• Work closely with the Service Manager to maintain safety, consistency, and workflow efficiency

What You Bring

• Required: Experience in a service department, mechanical environment, or industrial/equipment setting

• Preferred: Equipment industry experience (think Wajax, Toromont, etc.)

• Bonus Points: Warranty administration experience

• Excellent communication and multitasking skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and web-based tools (SAGE is a plus!)

• A proactive, solution-focused mindset and a passion for quality service
