How It Works
Operating Tips
- Switch the breaker between compact loaders and compact excavators with an X-Change™ cap and the loader X-Change™ mounting frame. (The caps on the E145 or E165 are not compatible).
- Breakers are very sensitive to hydraulic flow. Match the breaker model to the hydraulic flow of the machine for optimal performance. Too much flow will damage the breaker.
- Don’t dry fire. Always have pressure on the tip of the breaker.
- Common operating errors that put unnecessary strain on the working tool include prying material rather than breaking. Skidding while there’s down pressure on the breaker tool can cause unnecessary wear.
- It is recommended to grease the breaker every two hours of operation to ensure breaker longevity. Without proper greasing, metal-to-metal contact between the tool and bushing will expedite component wear.
- Checking and maintaining the nitrogen charge will ensure optimal performance.
