Two-Way Log Splitter
With more than 30 models to choose from, all of our log splitters split on both the forward and reverse strokes doubling their productivity compared to standard models that only split one way. An important part of the wood splitter's design prevents logs from shooting out unexpectedly. Jammed logs are easily loosened by placing a log on the other side of the knife and backing the knife out. Shelves on either side of the bed keep split blocks from falling to the ground. All self-contained wood splitters can be equipped with an optional hydraulic log lifter, and High Speed tires with tail lights. Our base models are 24 inch stroke with a cycle time of 4 to 6 seconds. They can split 20 inch diameter blocks to produce more than 50 face cords per day. Our 3000 series and 4000 series log splitters are available in 30, 36 and 48 stroke models and can split 30 to 36 inch diameter logs. The 4000 series wood splitters are manufactured with a 7 inch by 7 inch reinforced frame, reinforced stops and reinforced sliders. The 3400 and 4400 series log splitters can be equipped with an interchangeable 2-way or 4-way knife.

Wood Chippers - Real Time Chipping

Split-Fire also offers a line of heavy duty 4 inch gas powered wood chippers designed for continuous heavy duty use. Built with a low parts count, a heavy duty clutch, and powder coated finish, these machines do not require annual overhauls. 

The 3pt hitch wood chippers are equipped with a heavy duty gear box without belts and clutching to keep maintenance low. Each machine comes with a diamond file and a one year warranty. 

Built to last, these high performance wood chippers take in branches up to three feet per second. The 4000 series chipper is built using 5/16 inch and 3/8 inch plate around the chipper box for durability and safety, then sand blasted and powder coated for a longer lasting finish. 

These chippers are used by arborists, home owners and landscapers for brush and branches up to four inches in diameter. The throat on these wood chippers is five by six inches wide, which will allow more branches to be put into the machine.
