Accounts Payable Administrator


Locations: Thunder Bay

Equipment World - Thunder Bay is seeking an organized accounting professional to assist accounting team. This position offers flexible work hours, ranging from 30-40 hours per week, between 8 am – 5 pm, Monday to Friday.
The Accounts Payable Administrator reports to the Comptroller and is responsible for assisting with Accounts Payable and General Accounting as required. Some of the duties for this position include:
  • Accounts Payable – freight invoicing – coding and data entry
  • Accounts Payable - invoice processing
  • Un-invoiced receipts and credit verification
  • Authorise and Code employee expenses, reconcile visa and fuel statements, towing and employee allowance receipts
  • Assist with creating and processing purchase orders
  • Identification and resolution of AP discrepancies
  • Prepare various accounting related reports as needed
  • Interact with suppliers, coworkers, management and customers via phone, electronic mail, and in person
  • Act as vacation coverage when needed
  • Accounting, Bookkeeping or Office Administration experience required
  • Communication, problem solving and organizational skills required
  • Computer, Excel/MS Office experience required
  • Experience using Accounting Software such as SAGE 300 is preferred
  • Diploma/Degree in Accounting is preferred
