Although this course is not mandatory, many workplaces now require this operator training prior to authorization to operate scissorlifts, booms or aerial work platforms. The Ministry of Labour is also making strong recommendations that this training be provided to all operators. The nature of this course is very specific and it can be tailored to include any or all of the equipment you have on-site. Participants will receive a certificate of training with the specific models listed on which training was performed. The approximate length of this course is 4 to 6 hours depending on the number of units for which training is required. Purpose:To train operators (new or experienced) on how to properly operate scissorlifts, booms or aerial work platforms. Topics Include (in class):
